Lights, camera, action! Castlemaine Documentary Festival invites the community to attend two free public screenings at The Village Square Castlemaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CDOC director Claire Jager said the two fabulous music docos featured extraordinary performances and great storytelling and were well-suited to being screened outdoors on a Saturday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first film\u00a0Grace Jones: Bloodlight and Bami<\/em>\u00a0will hit the big screen this Saturday April 16 from 7.30pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Larger than life, wild, scary and androgynous \u2013 Grace Jones plays all these parts. Yet here we also discover her as a lover, daughter, mother, sister and even grandmother, as she submits herself to our gaze and allows us to understand what constitutes her mask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ms Jager said audiences could expect electrifying concert performances and intimate, personal footage that showcased the life and talent of singer and actress Grace Jones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
