The sun was shining, no sign of any rain, and some of Lancefield\u2019s keenest cricketers were enjoying themselves at the club\u2019s first practise session on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
The Tigers\u2019 have two men\u2019s sides, one in Jensen Shield (first round on Saturday, October 8) and Club Grade (Saturday, October 15).<\/p>\n
There are also expected to be two women\u2019s sides in yellow and black colours this season.<\/p>\n
New players will be warmly welcomed; no experience or equipment necessary.<\/p>\n
The club\u2019s Registration\/Come and Try Day is on Sunday, September 11.<\/p>\n
President Andrew Richardt and secretary Pauline Goodes expressed appreciation to the Bendigo Bank for providing a
\n$500 reconnection grant to support the registration day.<\/p>\n
The Tigers will continue to devote time to building up junior ranks.<\/p>\n
