Hayden Evans (pictured) was re-elected unopposed as Kyneton Football Netball Club president on Saturday afternoon, and he firmly believes the Tigers will go from strength to strength in 2023.<\/p>\n
\u201cPlease share the excitement amongst the Kyneton community …. please continue to support our great club. We are on the rise,\u201d Evans declared in presenting his report on the well-attended annual meeting held at the Kyneton Hotel.<\/p>\n
He described 2022 as \u201ca massive year\u201d for the Tigers.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe club has worked so well as a team and as a club we couldn\u2019t be prouder of every single person who contributed in 2022,\u201d he declared, before itemising a long list of achievements.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have been very busy and we strongly believe this will leave us in a much stronger position heading into the 2023 season.\u201d<\/p>\n
Evans singled out Nikki Young for praise on her first year in the role of club manager, stating \u201cshe has exceeded all expectations”.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs we all know clubs like ours cannot function without the generosity and passion of our fantastic committee and army of volunteers.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are very lucky to have such a dedicated team driving the Kyneton Tiger train onward and upwards,\u201d Evans declared.<\/p>\n
In response to a question, Evans elaborated on the rationale behind the recent decision to transfer its senior women\u2019s and junior football teams to the Riddell League next season.<\/p>\n
