Maldon Twilight Dinner is back for 2025, with all the elements that have always made the annual event a spectacular night \u2013 food, music and dancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With a change in organisers there will be a few changes to the popular event, largely the super local focus of the festival, which be held on Saturday January 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Featuring an incredible lineup of local musicians \u2013 Mick Coates, The Amazing Valentino’s, Darling Buds of Maldon, the Loud Shirts and the Jam Tarts \u2013 playing a variety of good time classics that will keep folk dancing all night long. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The festival food and drink format will have a little twist too, with drinks available from the IGA, Maldon Hotel and 48 Main and coffee, tea and cold drinks available from the Maldon Cafe, Gold Exchange, and the Ice Cream Shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A delicious three-course meal will be served to patrons, as roving singers and performers, Denton Delmenico and Kristy Woodward from Bendigo, entertain guests. Starting with a platter featuring locally sourced cheese, and a main course of roast chook, beef, ham and salads (vegetarian and vegan options available), the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance will be a selection of eight sweets from Maldon Rose, Maldon Bakery, Maldon Cafe and Gold Exchange. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As always, the Victorian Goldfields Railway is offering visitors a once-in-a-lifetime experience, riding the historic diesel engine from Castlemaine to Maldon and back again at the end of the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The theme for the 2025 Maldon Twilight Dinner is ‘Maldon Gold’. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed and Best Table Decorations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
