North Central Netball Region has more 45 athletes representing the region at the Netball Vic State Titles this March long weekend at Parkville. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Castlemaine District Netball Association is thrilled to have had 16 participants selected across the playing group, coaching staff and management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CDNA continues to see players and coaching staff work their way up through local programs selected year in and year out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under 15s players \u2014 Scarlett Ramsey and Piper Fynch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unders 17s player \u2014 Maycee Rinaldi, assistant coach \u2014 Nikkea Hogan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under 17 male players \u2014 Jedd Oxley, Sebastian Pratt, Levi Mountford (co-captain), Marlon Von Bulow, Mason Farrugia, Zach Laurien (co-captain), Kale Waddington, coach \u2014 Vanessa Saunders, assistant coach \u2014 Tegan Maddern, manager \u2014 Leticia Laurien, primary carer \u2014 May Pratt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open player \u2014 Tegan Maddern (co-captain).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NCNR squads will come up against teams from 14 other regions across the state and play for the chance to take out the Grand Final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The elite competition also presents a chance for local netballers to be talent identified. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
These athletes participated in tryouts in October, the initial group was then cut down to squads before the final teams were selected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NCNR teams have been training hard since November making sure they are ready to do the region proud. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will be the third year NCNR has fielded an Open side after several years in recess, and the fourth year they have submitted an all-male team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
NCNR is very excited to show the other regions, especially the metro teams, what county folk are made of. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
