A Kyneton family is gearing up to hit the road for the Variety Brats Bash, to raise funds for children who are sick, disadvantaged or living with a disability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelling as Team Uno, Kaitlin and Christian Pearce, along with their kids Toby (11) and Mabel (12), will depart from Daylesford for Kangaroo Island on Easter Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaitlin says they are proud to be taking part in what will be an unforgettable family adventure with purpose!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As we travel through regional towns in a convoy of colourfully themed cars as a family, we\u2019ll be delivering grants, equipment and support directly to kids, schools and communities that need it most,” Kaitlin said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It\u2019s a fun-filled road trip for a cause close to our hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Last year the kids did the Bash with their Pop and myself, driving from Renmark to Alice Springs, and raised over $10,000 from friends, families and businesses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Along the way, the kids on the Bash presented grants to local schools and communities. One grant funded a whole school excursion to Monarto Zoo. So it’s all about kids fundraising for other kids!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family is also holding a fundraiser at the Shamrock Hotel in Kyneton on Sunday March 29 from 1pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be live music, raffles and a live auction. Go along for a fun-filled afternoon to support Team Uno’s fundraising efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Variety Club of Victoria, through events like the Bash, is generous in giving back to communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
