MAINfm is rolling out the green carpet for its inaugural Rogies – like the Logies but for radio, it’s an event to celebrate the talented and dedicated volunteer presenters at Castlemaine’s own radio station, 94.9 MAINfm.
\nAwards in various categories including The Chatterati Award for ‘Best Talk Show’, The Rex Watts Music Award for ‘Best Music Show’, New Kid on the Block for ‘Best Newcomer’, to name a few, are up for grabs – including the coveted Gold Rogie to be presented by the inimitable John Flaus.
\nWith a strong focus on local content in the true spirit of community radio, the list of programs presented on MAINfm is as long as it is diverse, including shows about food, sport, art, books and of course music ranging from jazz to classical and everything in between.
\nThere will be food trucks, bar by Shedshaker Brewing and entertainment from local bands Stop That Mammoth and World Turtle World. Join the MAINfm community for all the glamour on the green carpet at Wesley Hill Hall, Saturday December 7 from 5.30pm for a 7pm start.
