A young Maldon man\u2019s dream of buying his very own home can now come true after he scored $2.5 million in the weekend\u2019s TattsLotto draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The local player held one of the four division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4189, drawn Saturday September 11 \u2013 each pocketed $2.5 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking with an official from The Lott this morning, the winner admitted he was still struggling to come to terms with the life-changing news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI found out straight after the draw on Saturday night,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was just watching some TV with my family when I checked my ticket on The Lott app and that\u2019s when I realised I\u2019d won division one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI instantly started shaking! I felt so nervous. I just couldn\u2019t believe it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI screamed for my parents to check, and they couldn\u2019t believe it either. They were blown away!
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe celebrated that night with a few drinks. It was really good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am still feeling so anxious right now. I have butterflies in my stomach!
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHopefully, it starts to feel real soon, but regardless, it\u2019s amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think the first thing I will do is buy myself a home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt seemed a bit impossible, especially at the moment, so this is great for me.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHonestly, I am not too sure what I will do with the rest. I\u2019ve never had this kind of money, so it\u2019s new territory for me!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His winning System 11 QuickPick entry was purchased at Maldon Newsagency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
